Another route around North Van, only this time for those who ideally have some previous gravel experience . You will explore hidden neighbourhood connectors, as well as single tracks, steeper climbs, and some fast downhills, plus this route connects two bridges, so you can create a nice loop if coming from Vancouver.

To get through Norgate, we used Alderwood Park and connected to Mosquito Creek through Lower MacKay Creek Park. You may already know how much we love Mosquito Creek trail, which connects the ocean and the mountains, with pretty mellow climbing for the most part.

After getting to Montroyal Blvd, the reward in the form of descent began, and through various connectors and small parks, we got to Lynn Valley Headwaters. We picked the trails that didn’t involve any extra hills, but there are many options around the park that give you an opportunity to create your own adventure.

Hope you’ll have fun on your ride!

Tips: On a hot day, make a stop at the End of the Line General Store for some ice cream or iced coffee :)
