In the route above you will find the option to spend almost the whole ride solely on gravel trails, with occasional road riding. Our suggestion is to take the same trails both in and out, starting from Second Narrows Bridge to your destination, but we promise you won’t be bored! As the trails go up and down the whole time (same elevation in and out), this route is fun both ways. Riding most of the time on the north side off highway, you will be rewarded with many nice views along the way, which is just an added bonus to being surrounded by nature the whole time.
Tip: If you want to spice it up a bit, look for a fun single track called Hang Your Hat in Burnaby Mountain area
Highlights: Single track at Reed Point Marina, views from Trans Canada Trail and the fact that majority of the route is on gravel
